In addition to our bright and spacious classrooms, the Nursery School has a shaded playground, a library and the use of two large indoor rooms for creative movement, rainy day playtime, and all-school-events and meetings.
Parents are encouraged to use the well stocked preschool library. The Fireflies and Caterpillars have formal library days, but all parents (and children accompanied by parents) are welcome to borrow books.
To prevent classes from being interrupted, all library visits should take place at the end of the school day. The library operates on the honor system. Parents checking out a book should remove the library card from the back of the book and place it in the pocket assigned to their child on their classroom poster. Once a book is returned, take the card out of the pocket and put it back in the book. All returned books should be placed in the returned book bin.
