Open and Closed
School
calendars are available at the January Open House for the following school
year. The nursery school is open approximately 165 days per year. Most holidays
and vacations are coordinated with Montgomery County Schools, with the Nursery
School having slightly longer vacation periods.

Closings
BCNS
follows the same snow-day and emergency closing policy as Montgomery County
Public Schools. In the event of delayed openings there will be NO Nursery School, but Lunch
Bunch will still be available. On days when snow is falling or expected to fall
parents should listen to local news stations for school closings, or check www.mcps.k12.md.us or www.schools-out.com. If the school closes
early you will be expected to pick up your child or arrange for someone listed
as an emergency contact to pick your child up.
