Lunch Bunch 

Lunch Bunch is an optional program available to all children.  It is staffed by BCNS teachers and supervised by Mrs. Nelson.  The program includes playground time, lunch, free play and projects. Parents must provide a brown bag lunch for their child which is refrigerated each morning (lunches brought in insulated bags are not refrigerated).  Sometimes special programs are offered at an extra charge which covers increased staffing and extra supplies/equipment.  Past special programs have included Cooking, Science, Books for Beginners and Play a Story/Sing a Story.  Lunch Bunch is open to all classes, but in the event of over-enrollment spaces are assigned by lottery.  However, for some special programs priority is given by age (order of priority will be clearly stated on the enrollment form). 

 Lunch Bunch will begin on the first Monday in October, and is offered Monday through Thursday 12:00 - 2:00 at a cost of $12.50 per day. There are two Lunch Bunch sessions for the year.  The first is October to December and the second is January to May. Sign ups are in September and December. If you wish your child to attend both sessions you must sign up both times. 

Once you have signed up for Lunch Bunch you will be billed monthly with your tuition invoice. Since Lunch Bunch is a popular program, we are unable to offer make-up days or to refund you for days missed. One month’s notice is required to change your Lunch Bunch commitment. Occasionally, it is possible to accommodate children on a drop-in basis. All drop-ins must be paid in advance and approved by the director.

Lunch-bunchers are to be picked-up at 2:00 PM on the front steps of the church. If a parent is late picking up their child a late fee is imposed. There will be a $5 late fee charged after the first 5 minutes, and $1 a minute thereafter.
