Sibling Care

Since many of our students have younger siblings, BCNS staffs a well equipped “crib room” several days a week. This is a very popular option for parents who like the philosophy of a cooperative school, but lack child care for their other children while they fulfill their co-oping duties. 

Parents using the crib room must sign up in advance, as there is a maximum of three children allowed per day. There is a daily fee or the option to co-op in the crib room for parents who use it. When a child is left in the crib room, a parent/guardian must remain on Nursery School premises at all times. The crib room is limited to children between the age of 3 months and 4 years. (Exceptions may be made in special circumstances with the director’s permission).
